I want to add that a lot of people say that AO and the move aren’t canon cause their stories don’t match that of the OG show, but the HI Evo trilogy solves this problem by stating that while all those stories did happen, they all occurred in different universes created by Eureka in HI EVO.īut as most people point out, AO and pocket full of rainbows are really garbage stories cause they’re not as well written as the OG show. Knowing this, the OG show, movie, and AO are all canon, yes, but they’re all separate stories that relate to the problem In the hi Evo movies.

The reason being is that, as it’s revealed in the anemone movie (HI EVO 2), Eureka and Renton exist in multiple universes as a result of Eureka using her godly powers to create a world where she can live with Renton. Ya, I know it’s weird but that’s probably the best I can describe it to you.Īs for the canononicity of these two Eureka Seven stories they’re both canon, but they’re not in the same universe as the OG show. The movie pocket full of rainbows is the story of Eureka and Renton on an alternative world of Earth where humanity is fighting off an alien invasion and Eureka and Renton try to protect each other from a group of ex military members who seek to use the two of them to solve their aging issues. AO is about the journey of Eureka and Renton’s son, AO, as he finds out why his parents abandoned them as well as what happened to Eureka and Renton post OG show.
